Tequila + rosé = best buzz ever. I said what I said. This fresh and simple spritz is the perfect day party sipper. I will definitely be making a huge pitcher of this for my Galentine’s brunch. You can easily swap out the tequila for your spirit of choice, so there’s not a Galentine in the world who wouldn’t enjoy this pretty pink drink.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1 oz fresh squeezed lime
- 1 oz blood orange juice
- 1/2 oz hot honey (use whatever sweetener you have! Honey, agave, simple syrup)
- Jalapeño slices (to your preference)
- 1 1/2 oz Don Ramon lavender infused tequila
- Rosé Prosecco
Directions:
- Rim- when I use sprinkles for cocktail glass rims I like to use cream of coconut because I’ve found that the sprinkles stick way better and longer, just put it in the freezer for at least 10 minutes before serving your drink in it
- Muddle raspberries with lime, blood orange juice, honey and jalapeños
- Strain into cocktail shaker
- Add tequila; pour tequila over your mesh strainer to utilize all the flavor from the muddled seeds
- Shake with ice
- Pour into glassa
- Top with Rosé Prosecco
- Garnish with fresh raspberries
The lavender infused tequila was a nice touch! But do not go out of your way to buy it if you have some tequila already on hand at home. I served this over a block ice cube but as long as you shake it well with ice you can serve this in a pretty martini or coupe glass..in fact, I’d suggest serving it that way instead of the way I did in this *video*. But of course, as always, do whatever floats your boat! There’s no wrong way to make a cocktail
