SkrewBall Strawberry Whipped Cream

 

Ingredients:

  • 1cup cold heavy whipping cream

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons SkrewBall peanutbutter whiskey (amount is up to your preference, I suggest not adding anymore than 3 tablespoons otherwise the cream may not thicken)

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cup strawberry compote (recipe to be linked)

*Notes: You can sub a a store-bought strawberry purée or syrup for the homemade compote, adding as much or as little to your liking. Since I had Valentines Day in mind, I added my strawberry mixture until the color reached the pink hue I was going for

Instructions:

  1. Place a metal mixing bowl and metal whisk or the tongs of an electric hand mixer in the freezer for at least 10 minutes; the longer the better

  2. Removed chilled bowl and whisk from freezer, add heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and Skrewball to bowl and whisk until mixture thickens and soft peaks form.. after 5-10 minutes, voila! You should have yourself some boozy whipped cream

  3. Fold in the strawberry compote

  4. Store in airtight container in the fridge until ready to use
