Spicy Cucumber Margarita

Spicy Cucumber Margarita

This one is so good that I always make enough for 2 servings whenever I make it. Refreshing and light, it almost tastes like a green juice. Cucumber flavored beverages are my go to beach beverage; I could sip on these all day! I have been loving YaVe tequila lately, so I used their jalapeno flavored tequila in this. Another great jalapeno tequila is Tanteo. If you can't find a jalapeno tequila, no big deal at all! Just add some fresh jalapeno to the cucumbers before you blend.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 cup cucumber juice (to make the cucumber juice, rough chop cucumber, add a splash of water, blend until smooth, strain using a fine mesh strainer)
  • 2 oz fresh lime juice (2 limes usually gets me 2 oz of juice)
  • 2 tablespoons of spicy honey (add more or less depending on how you sweet you like it..if you don't have spicy honey agave or regular honey will work just fine, I would just suggest adding a couple dashes of the chili lime seasoning to mixture before shaking)
  • 4 oz YaVe Jalapeno flavored Tequila
Sweet & Spicy Chili Lime Rim-
Dip glass in agave and then chili lime powder
Place glass upside down on a plate in the freezer
Leave in freezer while you make your margarita

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker
  2. Shake well with ice
  3. Pour over fresh ice into chilled chili lime rimmed glass
  4. Garnish with a cucumber wheel and jalapeno slice
  5. Cheers, sip and enjoy!
