Strawberry Ricotta Crostini

Strawberry Ricotta Crostini

STRAWBERRY RICOTTA CROSTINI
I absolutely LOVE hosting girls nights and creating cute appetizers that look aesthetically pleasing and of course taste just as good as they look! However, as a busy gal I keep most of my recipes very easy to make on a moment's notice with minimal ingredients. These strawberry ricotta toasts are just that! And you can get super creative with the flavor profiles. You can really use any spreadable cheese and fruit combination, and the results will inevitably be yummy every time. Burrata, goat cheese, bri, ricotta, peaches, strawberries, apples..you name it, the combo will work.
Crostini - you can buy pre-made crostinis at your local grocery store, or make them easily yourself. Slice up a baguette, rub each slice with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper and dried italian herbs. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes or until golden and crispy
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Spread ricotta cheese on to a crostini
Top with sliced strawberries
Drizzle with balsamic glaze and honey
Top with fresh basil
